Alfred Falligan
I am Alfred (Al) Falligan. My wife and I live in Riverdale, GA-suburb of Atlanta. I was born visually impaired and attended the State School for the Blind. I have attained a Masters Degree in Rehab Teaching.
I spent 27 years as a Rehab Teacher and Job Placement Specialist. Desiring to venture into “some thing different”, I became a merchant in April of 2001.
I joined NFB over 25 years ago. One of my greatest experiences was to coordinate with the National Office the first and second national conventions that were hosted by the Georgia affiliate. That was 1999 and 2000. Through my involvement in the Federation I became aware of the Randolph-Shepherd Act.
My facility is located at Fort McPherson Army Post in Atlanta, GA. It is a snack shop and vending facility. I play a variety of music. The music is always a topic of discussion. This along with my Number One Customer Service keeps them coming back.
